Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone), billing details (company, address, tax ID), the domains and mailboxes you manage, transaction records, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service. We do not store card numbers — payments are handled by our payment processor.

2. How we use it

To provide the services you order: registering domains (which requires sharing registrant contact details with the registrar and registry), provisioning mailboxes with Google or Microsoft, processing payments, sending transactional email (receipts, renewal reminders, security notices) and providing support. We do not sell personal data.

3. WHOIS and privacy protection

Domain registrations require registrant contact data under ICANN policy. WHOIS privacy is enabled by default where the TLD supports it, which replaces your details with a forwarding service in the public record. Some TLDs do not permit privacy; this is indicated before purchase where applicable.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the processors needed to deliver the service: the upstream domain registrar and registries, Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 (for mailbox orders), our payment processor, and our email delivery provider. Each receives only what its function requires. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required.

5. Retention and security

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account exists and as required for tax and accounting law. Credentials are hashed, temporary mailbox passwords are encrypted at rest and can be cleared by you, and access to production systems is restricted. Sessions support email-code two-factor authentication.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies required to operate the site: session, authentication and CSRF cookies. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

7. Your rights

You can access and correct your data from your profile, export your domain list, and delete your account once no active services remain. For any other request — including data export or erasure — contact support@silo.name.
